Olaf began taking photos, while he was studying architecture in Hannover, when Friends persuaded him to shoot their record sleeve of the band "Terry Hoax" which was crowned by success and sparked a new obsession for Olaf who then moved to Berlin to study photgraphy at the prestigious Lette Verein. After that Olaf lived in Los Angeles for a long time to shoot editorials featuring celebrities from the world of music, film and sports. By now he moved back to Berlin and directs commercials, short films and music promos and of course still shoots photos for big advertising campaigns.
